Now One Foot, Now The Other

Two illustrations for a story written by Tomie dePaola.

Bob was the grandfather who taught Bobby how to walk when he was young. They enjoyed building a tower with some wood blocks together while Bob always made Bobby laugh because his sneeze would finally make the tower fall.

"When the weather got nice and warm, Bob said 'You. Me. Walk.' Bobby knew exactly what Bob wants to do. Bobby stood in front of Bob and let Bob lean on his shoulders.

'OK, Bob, Now one foot, now the other foot.’"
